ECU : The only ECU allowed for WorldSport Bike class is
MKE7 model
WORLDSPB it’s available from Mectronik Dealers , Manufacturers , Mectronik Store (
www.mectronik.store ) , Other MKE7 or MKE5 models ( example
WSS600_A and
SPORTB_A ) are not approved for World Championship or National Championship that follow FIM rules .
Firmware : for 2026 the firmware ( 2.30.x ) for World SportBike category will be 100% aligned with World SuperSport .
The firmware is full torque and force based .

Workspace for MECAL : An official workspace will be published as soon as all manufacturer pass phase 2 , test calibration will be available , and balance of performance will be defined ,

Wiring Loom : It’s free , some manufacturer supply a Plug & Play solution ( please ask Your reference for more information ) , or it’s possible to get it from SoloEngineering (
www.soloengineering.com ) . In any case , the directive about schematic draws must be respected (
Sporbike Wiring Loom ) .
CAN Protocol : The CAN protocol for World SportBike and for World SuperSport are the same , with just some small changes from 2025 . You can download the technical documents form this web site (
www.mectronik.com ) . All the dashboard compatible with SuperSport Next Generation , are compatible also with SportBike . Please check technical rules , because for 2026 season it’s mandatory to use the 2D Midi Dash Color ( soon available ) .
Engine and Strategy Calibration : The Engine Calibrations ( DIS file format ) and base Strategy calibration ( NGS file format )will be available as soon as validated by each manufacturers ( please ask Your reference for more information ) . On first part of 2026 , a first BOP ( Balance Of Performance ) will be applied waiting the Phase 2 measurement for all approved motorbikes . As soon as all motorbikes will be tested , new Engine Calibration with First official version of BOP will be released ( ~ mid March ) .
