Next Generation Unified CAN Protocols

We defined a common CAN protocol for all out Next Generation Applications .

The target is to have a common defined spec for DashBoard and DataLogger configuration .

The Next Generation applications includes :

  • Racebike PRO ( Torque Based ) 
  • Reacebike EVO ( Torque/Model Based )
  • Supersport ( Torque Based ) 
  • Sportbike ( Torque Based ) 

The CAN protocol can be composed of PREDEFINED and CUSTOM protocols . 

The predefined is build in in the firmware , each applications share the same spec , with just very small differences ( notes on excel ) .

It can be activated ( on Engine Calibration ) as FULL or DYNO version . The DYNO is lightweight , with lower but load .

On Engine Calibration , it’s possible to allow the use of 2 different CUSTOM protocols , the first one is defined on Engine Calibration , second one can be defined on Strategies Calibration
