Simone needed to know in detail the behavior of his engine. In particular the range of use of the engine revolutions, the Air fuel ratio , the ratios and the efficiency of the propeller.

We supported Simone Tartarini to install and configure his data recording system on JetSki .

Main challenge was the use of a data-logging system in motorsport application where it’s not common .

Main problems was related to Lambda installation , GPS precision , and water proof devices .

The exhaust gas temperature are monitored with hi precision sensor termocouple type K ( 1 for each cylinder )

One more requirement was the ability to install and remove in very simple way and short time , because of technical rules imposed to don’t used the system for some events .

We provided following devices :

• 2D Datarecording Memory Stick
• 2D DatarecordingHi precision GNSS at 25 Hz , with speed precision <0.5 Km/h , and position precision <1 m
• Mectronik Lambda Controller MKL1 for BoschLSU 4.9
• Termocouple amplifier over CAN BUS

Simone build the wiring loom by himself fitting it perfectly on vehicle . We give some support for CAN Protocol reverse engineering .
